Rules for the application of TRIZ-2

Copying – when it is not possible to perform an action with an object, a copy is used. For example: to reduce accidents, cardboard copies of traffic police inspectors and cars are placed on problematic sections of roads. When driving at high speed, drivers mistake them for real employees, so they behave more carefully.

Coordination and discoordination - to make it easier to perform actions with an object, it can be coordinated with external conditions, expectations and beliefs of people. For example: because of constant thefts in German hotels, all objects are labeled with a logo. When they are given to other people, the logo acts as an advertisement for the establishment.

3 levels of TRIZ in business
Level 1: identifying and solving the car owner database main problems using TRIZ tools. At this stage, the company quickly and cost-effectively eliminates the biggest difficulties - low sales results and poor conversion, logistical shortcomings, disagreements between managers and many others that the company has had for a long time.

Level 2: Using TRIZ business methods, barriers are found that prevent systems and processes from progressing. The possibility of dramatically reducing costs by identifying and eliminating unnecessary elements is determined. This does not limit the system's performance, but rather improves its efficiency. If secondary tasks appear at this stage, they are solved using first-level tools.

Then the tools from the previous levels are used again, which find obstacles and eliminate contradictions that appear as development progresses.

To prevent possible risks, level 3 also uses tools that assess the likelihood of their occurrence in goods and services.

Stages of problem solving using TRIZ methods
In commercial activities, an adapted classical algorithm for eliminating problems using the TRIZ method is used. It includes 3 stages: defining the goal; IIP (description of the innovative problem); searching for contradictions and solutions. This process is usually carried out by a group of several specialists.

Defining the Goal
The goal is determined after studying the reasons why the problem appeared. For this, a perception map is used. All group members write down the problem, ask themselves questions about why it appeared.

As a result, its root cause is determined. Then the maps of specialists are combined, compared, the most significant cause is established and the task is formulated.

For example, a business problem is low conversion in trade. The supposed root cause is an insufficient number of sellers: applications are processed untimely, buyers are lost. The task is to speed up the process of processing incoming data.
