Protection from edits

You can set a ban on editing data by other users in the entire document, on individual sheets, in cells and selected ranges. You can prohibit changes to the entire file through access settings. To do this, assign the role "Reader" or "Commentator" to those who have the link.

To prevent editing of specific ranges, select Show japan telegram database other cell actions → Protect range from the context menu:

Click "Add":

Enter a description, specify the range you want to protect from editing, and click Set Permission.

If you need to protect a sheet, switch to the second tab and do the same.

If you need to remove individual cells from the restricted area, click "Exclude" and specify the ranges that will remain available for editing.
