What is Trustpilot and can you trust their reviews?
As you may know, customer reviews play an important role in helping people research products, services, and brands they are interested in. Trustpilot is one of the many platforms that helps facilitate this process by collecting and publishing reviews and company data.

In this article, we will look at what Trustpilot is and whether its reviews are trustworthy. We will also provide some tips to help both customers and brands get the most out of this platform.

Let's get started!

What is Trustpilot?
Simply put, Trustpilot is a third-party lebanon phone number data site. It is very similar to Yelp in that it provides easy-to-read statistics on customer satisfaction rates and comprehensive reviews from individual shoppers.

On Trustpilot you can search for brand or product reviews for free. Simply type your keyword in the search bar on the home page:

The Trustpilot homepage.
If you are looking for the best of a certain type of product rather than feedback on a specific item, you can use the category navigation buttons. In either case, Trustpilot will return a list of relevant brands:

When you go to a brand's page that interests you, you'll probably first notice its overall star rating at the top:

Astra's Trustpilot profile.
You’ll also see a breakdown of the business’s star ratings and a Business Transparency section . This section is only visible if the brand has claimed its Trustpilot profile. It will tell you whether the business encourages reviews, responds to negative feedback, and pays for additional features on the platform.

If you scroll down, you can read specific reviews:

Customers who have written at the business' request will have a By Invite label next to their name. This means that the brand has sent them a link to the Trustpilot review submission form after they have completed a purchase of a particular product.

Trustpilot is free but you need to create an account to leave reviews or claim your business profile. There is also an option to purchase additional brand features like advanced analytics and access to marketing resources.
