It’s the result of all those low-quality podcasts that were born during COVID, when people were discovering podcasting, trying it, and then abandoning their creations. What comes next is the golden age of podcasting . ”

The numbers to back it up : In 2022, over 25 million new episodes were published. What is decreasing are new podcasts created from scratch, not the activity of those that work. And this is also a consequence of Spotify's investment of over 1 billion dollars, which aims to absorb entire networks and create individual programs under its name.
